Plant & Equipment in simPRO

In simPRO, Plant items are equipment like vehicles, mobile devices and machinery that your business uses to complete work.

Plant items can be checked in and out of storage and scheduled alongside a technician if it is required to complete a specific job. You can also set an alert when a plant item is due to be serviced.

Assets are organised in groups called asset types. Each asset type allows you to create unique custom fields for recording information relevant to those assets, as well as unique test readings to collect important information during scheduled maintenance.
